Workshops and coaching for women with autism and / or ADHD.

Helping neurodivergent women thrive in a neurotypical world.

  • ADHD and autism describe types of cognitive functioning (“neurotypes”) that differ from what psychology defines as normative, or “neurotypical,” so women with ADHD and / or autism are “neurodivergent.”

  • ADHD and autism present differently in women and girls than in men and boys, which leads to under/mis-diagnosis and under/mis-treatment. This misunderstanding is exacerbated by the stereotypical portrayals of ADHD and autism in media, and by limited scientific research about neurodivergence in women.

  • No two neurodivergent women are impacted the same way. There is diversity both in which elements of cognitive functioning are impacted, and how greatly they are impacted.

  • Neurodivergent women are at elevated risk for eating disorders, alcoholism, drug addiction, impulsive behavior, self-harm, anxiety and depression.

  • Through self-diagnosis, understanding and community, we can together heal ourselves and embrace the gifts of neurodivergence.

  • The first step in the path forward is the liberating work of uncovering who we really are. What are our values? Beliefs? Needs?

  • Once we know ourselves, we can begin the rewarding work of redesigning our lives to thrive.

“Neurodiversity isn’t actually about having a specific, catalogued “defect” that the psychiatric establishment has an explanation for. It’s about being different in a way others struggle to understand or refuse to accept.” (As observed by the sociologist Judy Singer, and noted by Dr. Devon Price in Unmasking Autism.)

Hey, there. I know you. You’ve spent decades trying to stuff your unique neurodivergent self into a tiny neurotypical box. Denying your needs, withholding your thoughts, hiding your interests. You study “normal” people intensely, you little Wallflower you, and show yourself to others as a copy, not an original. Outwardly, fake you has done okay for herself—she a job, a partner, kids maybe, a friend or two. But inwardly you are dying. Living inauthentically leaves you burned-out, misunderstood even by those closest to you, and chronically falling short of your own untapped potential. You doubt you’ll ever feel like you belong.

But you can, and will. There is a future where you can have it all—vitality, connection, success—and be yourself. But to do that, you have to first know who you are, the woman behind the mask. And your values form the foundation of your identity.

Our values are the principles we hold as essential to living a life of purpose and meaning. Uncovering your values—and your true identity—are where I come in.

Hello! I’m Kirsten (pronounced “Keerstin”) and I am a trained life coach who works exclusively with neurodivergent women (said with great pride). That wasn’t always the plan! I trained first as a health and wellness coach in December 2023 with the intention of focusing on weight management. Indeed, I even went as far as to design and print a series of marketing postcards promoting wellness. But in the spring of 2024, thankfully before I’d had a chance to drop those postcards in the mail, a series of serendipitous events led me to Heather Morgan’s Values Integration coach training. Once I experienced for myself the transformative power of uncovering my values and therefore my true self, I knew I had to change the focus of my coaching practice to make this work available to more women. Through workshops and coaching, I help neurodivergent women uncover their values and put those values into practice in their every day lives. As I’ve experienced over the last year, the more we can live in alignment with our values, the more energy and joy (and less burn-out, anxiety and depression) we feel.

Ready to thrive in your neurodivergent life? There are 2 different ways you can work with me.

  • My Values Integration Workshop is a 3-hour 1:1 coach-led intensive. During this transformative workshop, we’ll uncover the core values that define who you are. Your personalized values list will become the foundation of your new life, guiding every decision you make including those about your career, relationships, friendships, money, parenting, goals, hobbies and more. It’s truly some of the most profound work you’ll ever do. Thank you to Heather Morgan for pioneering this work, and to Dr. Devon Price for their work on unmasking.

  1. Values Integration Workshop

  • Why would you pay $350 for a workshop on values? Let me ask—do you know what your values are? If not, then that’s why. A life lived out of alignment with your values is a life rife for burn-out, depression and worse. But you know that, and you don’t want to live that way anymore, do you? That’s why you’re here. You want to start living authentically. But to live authentically is to live in alignment with your values. And the purpose of this workshop is to help you identify your values. In other words, this workshop is the first step you’ll take towards your new life. So what are you waiting for?

  • The total cost for the workshop is $350 USD.

2. Coaching

  • What is coaching? So many people still don’t exactly what coaching is that I want to start by defining it for you in my own words based on my experience as a coach and a client. Let’s start by getting one thing straight: only you can change your own life. In order to change your life you need a vision for where you want your life to go, the skills to get it there, and the mental resilience to overcome challenges along the way (and there always are many). A coach encourages you to think big, motivates you to learn and grow, and provides accountability. From my personal experience I can say with 100% conviction that I get farther and faster (and with a lot less spinning) with a coach by my side.

  • But isn’t that what friends and partners are for? Coaches are different than friends, because we use special communication techniques that inspire and motivate. Coaches are different than therapists, because we don’t treat mental health conditions. Coaches are different than partners, because what we want doesn’t matter. Only what you want matters.

  • Why is it important to hire a coach who specializes in coaching neurodivergent women? Because women with autism and ADHD have special needs (and strengths, let’s be clear) that benefit from specialized help. A coach who understands the impact of autistic burn-out isn’t going to try to help you find a secret store of energy (making you feel like a failure when you can’t). They’re going to show you the compassion you should be showing yourself. A coach who understands the curious and carnivorous mind of a woman with ADHD isn’t going to try to help you pick one thing to focus on. They’re going to recognize that you’re most energized when you have multiple irons in the fire, and be able to switch between projects with you during sessions.

  • As your coach, I’m here to help you—expand your thinking, expand your skills, expand your ability to overcome challenges. Let’s go!
